In October, the MasterSingers continue their tradition of exploring the music of other cultures. At the premier concert of the 2006-2007 season, the MasterSingers will perform the music of the Italian masters. The first act will be a tour of the great opera choruses, including the works of Verde, Puccini and Donicetti. In the second act, the MasterSingers will perform standards of Italian popular music. These classics and popular songs resonate with the Italian spirit of love and life. It promises to be a memorable and enjoyable night of great music.
A CHRISTMAS CLASSIC

Our Holiday Concert will feature the works of Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff and Palestrina. These classic chorales provide the perfect opportunity to hear how early worshippers responded to the news of the birth of their Savior. Jim Elsberry’s signature arrangements of traditional carols and songs of the season will highlight the second act. Plan to make the MasterSingers Holiday Concert a part of your Christmas tradition.
EXPLORING OUR RICH CHORAL TRADITION

The MasterSingers return to the beautiful sanctuary of All Saints Episcopal Church for a concert of sacred choral works, including Mendelssohn’s Passion Week, On Good Friday, On Ascension Day and Lotti’s Crucifixus as well as compositions by Bach and Healey Willan. The mid-winter Sunday afternoon concert has become one of the group’s favorite performances. The All Saints Sanctuary and the All Saints organ are a perfect setting for this great choral music.
